April 16, 2026---The Centre of Excellence in Molecular Biology (CEMB), University of the Punjab hosted a gathering to honor Prof. Khalid Mehmood for his services as Chairman, Board of Governors, CEMB.

Director CEMB Prof. Moazur Rahman, along with faculty members, welcomed Prof. Khalid Mehmood. Prof. Moaz ur Rahman thanked him for his continued support during his tenure as Acting Vice Chancellor and Pro Vice Chancellor, University of the Punjab. He noted Prof. Khalid’s important contribution in making the Centre sustainable.

Prof. Khalid Mehmood thanked CEMB faculty for the invitation and appreciated CEMB’s exemplary role as a self-sustainable centre.

Dean, Faculty of Life Sciences, Prof. Anjum Nasim Sabri also acknowledged Dr. Khalid’s contributions, highlighting his just and facilitating role as a member of various university committees.
